My first Zed...

I've been trying to find the right car for me for almost a month now. Yesterday I bought a 2006 roadster in a private sale, in very good condition at a great price.

I did a 70 mile drive this morning, wrapped up well and with the roof down. What a fabulous drive! The car is great and I can't think of anything else that would rival a 350 for value for money. The exhaust noise with the roof off is addictive; so much so that I'm already considering a sportier exhaust system.

I'm glad that I followed my heart, rather than my head and bought a roadster. It was a close call but I'm in no doubt now that I made the right choice.

I plan to book it into somewhere like Japex, as it has an MOT advisory for a rear suspension bush. It's also due a service.

Thanks to everyone on here who provided advice and guidance to me before I bought this car.

Hello and welcome to the club

Surprised you got the roof to fold with these temperatures.

Cobra exhaust sounds good with a roadster.Drove around Normandy last year in my previous Zed roadster and woke a lot of frogs up !

I've had the roof down quite a few times in the last couple of days with no issues. Is it normally a problem in cold weather?

I'll check out the Cobra exhausts, thanks.
