ekallus
I've been trying to find the right car for me for almost a month now. Yesterday I bought a 2006 roadster in a private sale, in very good condition at a great price. I did a 70 mile drive this morning, wrapped up well and with the roof down. What a fabulous drive! The car is great and I can't think of anything else that would rival a 350 for value for money. The exhaust noise with the roof off is addictive; so much so that I'm already considering a sportier exhaust system. I'm glad that I followed my heart, rather than my head and bought a roadster. It was a close call but I'm in no doubt now that I made the right choice. I plan to book it into somewhere like Japex, as it has an MOT advisory for a rear suspension bush. It's also due a service. Thanks to everyone on here who provided advice and guidance to me before I bought this car.

mrt
Hello and welcome to the club Surprised you got the roof to fold with these temperatures. Cobra exhaust sounds good with a roadster.Drove around Normandy last year in my previous Zed roadster and woke a lot of frogs up !

I've had the roof down quite a few times in the last couple of days with no issues. Is it normally a problem in cold weather? I'll check out the Cobra exhausts, thanks. mrt
My roof had to stay up throughout last winter. Only way to get it down was to start the car and run the heater to warm up the fabric.
