Marti350z
Hello peeps.. I've got my new wheels coming tomorrow, there are square set up.. 19x9, just wondering what tyre size is best to go for.. To keep the vdc happy and looks wise. Cheers
Sam Mcgoo
A square set up is not really recommended on the Zed, but you probably new that and want a bit of tail happy action. The normal size for that wheel would be 245/35/19 but not sure the TC would like the same on both axles. if you did want to vary front to back you could probably get away with 235 front 255 rear or 245/265 Someone who knows more will probably be along shortly. brillomaster
245/35/19 and 275/35/19 are the usual sizes for 19" rims... but will a 275 fit on a 9" width? why did you go for 9" square setup, and not staggered 9" front, 10" rear? brillomaster
just checked, a 275/35 would fit on a 9" rim, its at the minimum recommended width. http://www.lvvta.org.nz/documents/infosheets/LVVTA_Info_01-2009_V2_Tyre_Size_to_Wheel_Size_Compatibility_Guide.pdf
Marti350z
Tail happy, yes haha.. I've still got the same wheels on from when I bought the car.. They are square set up.. I did run 20" wheels for a little while and vdc stayed happy, they just weren't to my taste.. I'm thinking I'll go 235 fronts and 255 on the rear..
