mikkydoos
Hi all (and Mods) Just put up a thread asking what people thought my Zed might be worth... removed by the mods. I know theres a minimum post number for advertising a vehicle on here (which I wasn't doing). Where can I put my question if I can? Cheers. (Mods, would like a comment/reason to set me straight for the future)
Lexx
Dude. I read the post. It was a for sale ad in everything but the asking price. Go to autotrader, ebay, pistonheads etc to get an idea of what to ask.
The G Man
It looked like an obvious ad, so one of the Team has removed it. We do get a lot of posts like this and it's a fine line. There are lots of Internet guides to pricing a car, but I must say when it was reported, it does look like a for sale ad. Alternatively, have a look in Zeds for sale section, should give you more than enough of an idea of the cars worth.
GIXXERUK
The replies you receive on here would be biased And not a good guide anyway imo Auto trader, pistonheads, for sale section will be a better guide
GMballistic
Mikky if you go on "Autotrader" you can add preferences for a search. So for example if your car is a manual gearbox 2003 Nissan 350Z GT with 80K miles you can add all of that into the search criteria then list the results priced high to low to give you a rough idea of market value for your car going from same age cars with similar miles/service history/extras etc. That's what I'd do anyway. Good luck with the sale.
WhackyWill
Go to "What Car."..Value My Car, and you will get a free valuation. Sorted...
nissanman312
Problem is if you want a realistic price and not the inflated price that people ask for cars is hard to get a true idea
zzzzz
Wisebuyers.co.uk were recommended in a previous thread but note that the prices are what you expect to sell at not what you advertise it for.
mikkydoos
Cheers for the comments guys. It wasn't a for sale ad... just a description of what it is... but hey. Depends on what someone wants to pay I guess.
