N4eay
Evening, just wondered if anyone has attempted to cover the headliner in a 350 with alcantara or other materials? Was it easy, cost much, any recommendations. Cheers

drysd4le
Hi, I did mine in a black suede material, I did this myself, with absolutely no experience and in my opionion it turned out great. As long as you have a bit of patience, it is easily achievable as a DIY and well worth the effort.

Interested to do mine in the future.
drysd4le
I just wrapped over existing, I used 3m heavy duty fabric glue, it is a bit daunting but definitely worth it.
Mondo 300
You need to use hi-temp adhesive - just plain heavy duty fabric glue won't hold the covering in place when the cabin heats up during the summer!
drysd4le
I did mine almost three years ago now, and no problems so far, I am however not disagreeing with you, maybe I just got lucky
Mondo 300
The heavy duty stuff may well be hi-temp as well, but either way it's good that yours is lasting well

I've got a local material shop I could talk to about getting me some to play around with, I've looked online and have no idea what material is what name It would be for headlining.
