head unit advice please

Just the Micra loom is needed. The aerial adaptor may not be needed. it depends on the connection that the new headunit has

It's an Alpina IDA x001 H/U so I think it does - they only cost a couple of quid so I might buy it rather than finding out I do need one when im installing!

Thanks Ian for advice - much appreciated :)

Dont I need another PAC to connect steering controls to unit?

Edit: Just found it- PAC SWI-ALP from here (is this the one?)

Yup thats the one for the steering controls, I didnt bother with it though

So lets pull this all together - I will need:

1) Head unit (drrrr!)

2) PAC ROEM for amp/head unit

3) PAC SWI-ALP

4) Ipod full speed connector cable

5) KCE-300BT Bluetooth unit

6) KCA-420i interface adapter

7) Single DIN fascia

8) Micra speaker wire loom

9) Aerial adapter

Is that it!?

Do I need a wiring harness also or is that the Micra loom?

Thanks for your comments Ian

i dont want to seem like a dun ass. but is the micra wire harness only used so you dont have to cut into the the wiring of your new head unit??? :headhurt:

as the end of the pac ome1 that i got has no harness on. so will have to be spliced anyway so may as well just connect to the new haed units wiring. also. the pac ome1 has low and high level input wiring? which one do i use. i think the high level but not sure. dose it depend on the power out put of the new head???
