Yes of course, that's a fair point ;)

Was curious about Centric Posi-Quiet pads, specifically the Ceramic ones whether they'd make a dust difference and still retain the bite, compared to OEM.

Can I throw in a (possibly irrelevant/unwanted) comment here.

I am currently* running Hawk ceramic pads on my 350 (with StopTech grooved discs) and found them to be low dust but a very effective bite at all (road) temperatures. Whether that is true of other ceramic pads I know not!

My Monster brake kit from Torqen has settled in nicely especially after their baptism of fire at the ring in April

The brake dust can be quite high sometimes but that is the sacrifice having drilled and grooved rotors but I treated my newly painted wheels with the highly recommended Carbon Collective wheel protector (not cheap) but the dust washes straight off

One more thing - if you wash the car and go out in it not long after, all the wet brake pad residue seems to fly out of the vented rotors and make a right mess

All worth it though for the awesome stopping power
