If your not sure of the brand then I would do an oil change. you dont want to be mixing oils. Ekona Posted January 7, 2015 Share Posted January 7, 2015 Mixing oils for a top up isn't as bad as running low on oil, I wouldn't worry too much as long as it's a decent quality one i.e. not Magnatec. 5w-30, 5w-40, 0w-30, 0w-40, 10w-40, anything around there will be fine.
