Kiwi Paul
I've noticed the last couple of trips the dashboard voltmeter is sitting at around 14 volts minimum, sometimes stays around 14.2 volts (although usually eventually drops to 14 volts). I'm sure it used to drop to about 13.7ish a few minutes after starting the car. I'm electrical savvy and know how a charging system works but from anyone's experience of these cars is this likely to be a charging circuit issue or possibly the battery starting to die. It has plenty of pep to start the car and so far is holding it's charge but this started occurring with the first cold weather which is often when batteries start failing. Tricky-Ricky
I think you have answered your own question there, battery's have a harder time when the temps are down.
Kiwi Paul
Problem solved, I was right about the winter chill, batteries resistance increases with lower temp and the charger compensates by increasing voltage so no issues at all. This is the first car I've owned with a voltmeter so not familiar watching the voltage change over the seasons.
