martinweir
Hi Folks been looking for a 350 for months now, saw one a few months ago and when I started it and put my foot on the clutch , what a racket. Just looked at another one last night and similar but not as bad. Is this a common problem ?
steve916
Welcome Yes the clutches are known to be a little noisy. How noisy is too noisy is different for each of us, but don't expect to find a silent one. How many miles were on it? glrnet
It's a 350, it has a noisy clutch, nothing to worry about, just turn the engine up a bit.

M.1
Welcome to the forums mate. Regards the clutch, mine is also very noise but only on take off (apparently they all make some sort of noise) mine is due a change however. Could maybe be the throw out bearing? Or then again it might just be a noisy clutch.
martinweir
Thanks guys, it has done 57K an 07 plate and pretty cheap, been online and see about 6 to 800 quid for a new clutch and flywheel, recon I could get the price down a bit. See lots of reviews and seems an awesome machine, Just got rid of my Z3 2.8 roadster, really was fun to drive and still have my Jag XK8 convertible. Think I'll go for it. Thanks again

keithvmx1200
Welcome to the forum and if the clutch pedal goes floppy on you and you get a burning smell get back to me as this happened to me and I took it back to the dealer as Nissan of Gloucester said I needed a new clutch and flywheel and got my money back which I should not have done as I found out afterwards it would have only cost £350 to put right. Regards keith
