WoREoD
Here's an interesting thought ..... I was reflecting that it was sad the start of the Japanese was under the safety car as I'd have liked to have seen Lewis and Fernando fighting for the first corner when I suddenly realised that if these two "team-mates" did take each other out the only person to lose would be Alonso. The team aren't scoring any points. Lewis has the lead. Two cars off, and who walks back to the pits with a grin on his face? I wonder what Schuey might have done in these circumstances!! rmmackfc
I'm actually contemplating getting up early on Sunday morning and watching the race.... either that or sky+ it Glad he never lost points. Saw the video and I thought all he did was take the corner very wide
GC350z
Na he slowed down way too much. Either way I'm still supporting Hamilton (and kimi) for the title but I hope Kimi catches him enough to take it to Brazil. I don't mind who takes it so long as Alonso doesn't. I'll be up at dawn. ------ typo corrected

Adam@Z1auto.com
such a bunch of babies over there, and a bit of a pile on McClaren too at this point I think (and I'm a Ferrari guy!) Seems like Lewis was now cleared - and I think Blundell's take on it was spot on http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/main.j ... lun105.xml
redzed
All this bickering is taking a great deal from what should be a really good year. It`s time evryone spit out their dummies and started earning the millions of pounds that they get paid.

Trev-the-Rev
I hope Sir Jackie sues the ass of Mosely. You can't go round making inflamatory comments like that and not expect some reaction. The fact that Mosley is a prominent figure just makes the situation worse.
Kev946
I've been invited to an evening with Jackie Stewart at Graypaul Maser/Ferrari Dealers in Nottingham, but can't make it damm it. You get to listen to 30mins presentation, meet the guy and get a sign biography...

redzed
That`s bollox, so F1 has been wrong for the past 50 years, it is a team sport and should be treated as such. So Schumachers carreer is null and void is it!!!! WTF is this all about???????
Kev946
The London Lite said tonight that Alonso had seigned a letter of intent that he would be joining Renault for a 3 year deal from next year, so this is probably why. Also mean Alonso will have to pay to get out of his contract. I reckon $100M sounds about right..
WoREoD
So that's Alonso .. "I might not win it so I'm going to spoil it for everyone involved". As my Irish friends might say: Just tell him to **** ***! (Go away!)

WoREoD
I wonder if McLaren's legal team can insist that a similar official be appointed to the Ferrari garage to ensure Raikonnen and Massa get equal treatment ......
GC350z
So that's Alonso .. "I might not win it so I'm going to spoil it for everyone involved". As my Irish friends might say: Just tell him to **** ***! (Go away!) Ah one my favourite phrases. Used it a number of times already today. I’d put money on this being Alonso’s doing or his manager. I’d say one of them had a word with the Spanish Motorsport Federation. Guy
