GMballistic
Meguairs Gold Class shampoo is what I've been regularly using. Stutopia
I've been using Gyeon Bathe+ for a while now, it adds a layer of magic on top of normal shampoo, so it's good for topping up your shine when it's just a maintenance wash. They do a non+ version too without the magic, not tried that yet. http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/gyeon-q2m-bathe-plus-cat3.html Got a sample pot of pure in a waxybox and liked it a lot, but it's not cheap even bundled with a couple of other things. http://www.glacierwax.co.uk/car-care/wash/pure-001-500-ml-car-shampoo-2/ Heard good stuff about this, not used it myself yet though. http://www.i4detailing.co.uk/shop/britemax-clean-max-ph-balanced-car-shampoo-3.78-litre.html#aBX125_2dG There's loads and loads of choices out there though
bigjackb
Amdetails bubbles is amazing, smells great and lathers up really well. Great dilution rates as well.
coldel
I would advise a detox shampoo as well - use it every 8 weeks or so to remove remnants of any polish or wax and start over.
Stutopia
Forgot this when I posted above and not sure if you can still get the deal, but it was a great price and the shampoo and wheel cleaner are both ace, not used the fallout yet. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/76334-1-x-500ml-shampoo-1-x-500ml-wheel-cleaner-and-1-x-500ml-fall-out-remover-for-20-delivered/
ilogikal1
In my opinion, you'd be hard pressed to find something that's NOT better than AutoGlym, unless you shop exclusively at Halfords that is. Car Chem 1900:1 (or Tailor Made, same thing but you get to customise it a bit). Gyeon Bathe+ as mentioned, or simply Bathe which is exactly the same as Bathe+ but without leaving any magic behind. CleanMax as previously mentioned. HubiKote HubiWash. Auto Finesse Lather. Poorboys Super Slick & Suds. FinishKare Super Concentrate (#118). Any of the Dodo Juice options. GTechniq GWash. Chemical Guys Mr Pink. Any of the Juicy Details offerings. Literally any of those would be an improvement over AG so take your pick. Personally I use/buy all of the first 5 on a regular basis. coldel
When I once had a sudden panic realising that the car was dirty, impending car meet and I had run out of shampoo I bought Zymol from Halfords. Super stuff and very under-rated.

ed divine
Tried most over the years, the very best I have used is Sonax red summer smells awesome and is super slick BUT it's very expensive when you consider how much you have to use. Britemax is a firm favourite of mine.
