hensh65
I hate silver cars but this actually looks really good in silver!
Bodyboarder81
So much nice than the mk1 !! Fair play to nissan for seeing they had missed the mark with first 370 nismo and sorted it pretty quick with the mk2 . I would be genuinely gutted if I had a mk1 not just in the looks department but now the mk1 will always been know as the ugly one and I think they will drop dramatically in price . For some of us the mark 2 is too close to the standard 370 in looks. I like the new one a lot but wouldn't swap and I can assure you that 'gutted' isn't a feeling any of us Mark 1 owners get from our cars. Wasn't ment to rattle anyone's cage just my opinion ... It is odd though that nissan brought out a newer version so quick though, and people being people will always want the newer version of the nismo IMO . The MK1 has been around for 5 years... I had the decision to wait for a MK2 and didn't. Plus, your comment is as rediculous as me saying that I pitty anyone who only has the 370z which doesn't have any factory fitted kit/upgrades. I bet they're gutted they didn't/couldn't afford a better version. Utter tosh!!!! I am not particularly interested in opinions when people are inconsiderate to others. I never share my views on a standard 370 because they're negative and I know people on the forum love theirs... So why would I? If not to be a pr@t. To be fair reading my original post I can see why you've got your hand bag out , so I apologise for that. Wasn't wanting to get Anybodies back up . Also i genuinly thought the mk1 only came out 2 odd years ago. But I am allowed an opinion on it ( even if you don't agree with it ) and still think the mk2 is nicer all round .
sipar69
I think it's been out about five years in the U.S. and about two here. I think what probably riled him and me a bit was your reference to being 'gutted' if you'd bought a Mk1. It would be a bit like one of us popping up on the 350 section of the forum and saying we'd be gutted if we could 'only' afford a 350Z. True or not, it would upset some people. As you say, everyone's entitled to an opinion and it does appear that most people prefer the look of the newer variant. I'm just glad I don't, as it would mean more unplanned expenditure. I think I'll be hanging on to mine until they release the next car in the Z line or maybe a GTR, or Evora S..... Be interesting to compare both Nismos in the flesh - all variants of the 370 look better that way. 370Ad
Looks awesome and I don't normally like silver! Would agree the wheel arch extenders are a bit odd though. Shame the Nismo didn't come super charged!

sipar69
My Nismo feels distinctly nippier than my upreved 370 felt. No idea how they compared on paper but certainly feels swifter on the road.
Zeezeebaba
Love the front end, love the side aspect. The rear looks a bit disjointed IMO but hey I prefer the 350 so don't listen to me. Very nice car matey.

Opposite for me with the one I test drove, but been down that road before. Anyway back to the point, enjoy the car it's a stunner. Would love to see more shots of the inside if you have them
Turboextreme
Thanks everyone, it wasn't supposed to be a thread to comment about the good and bad between the mk1 and the mk2 as everyone has started calling them , I prefer to call it the facelift version. Will get some pics up of the interior at the weekend and post them. Was thinking about some mods today but not sure what to go with yet as I don't know what I will be doing with the car in months or years to come.
