Mudman
Picked up a 2 TB Wifi NAS for £95 from PC World - its not supremely cheap but saw it on the black tag list and suddenly realised my life was incomplete without it .......... I want a NAS And I want a 60" as well I will let you knoiw how I get on with it. Have a load of media files strwen over various hard drives so plan is pop them on this and also pop the 2TB drive I have connected to the TV in the NAS expansion USB port so becomes 4TB. Have a few mates in Australia and NZ that love Brit TV so seeing if I can share with them and they can stream back to their lappy's etc

Ewen@Clark Motorsport
I just took a quick look at link Graham and had to close the window, absolutely disgusting and makes me sad that people carry on like this. Yes the shops may be partly to blame but they aren't forcing people to behave in that way.
Ekona
Next year I'm taking the day off and I'm just going to go and film these people. Must be amazing to watch such an atmosphere. Why the staff didn't just shut the tills and refuse to serve anyone who was acting like a tit, I don't know. Or they could've given out vouchers to people in the queue who wanted a TV to redeem, first come first serve.
hensh65
Don't know about you guys but every second post on my facebook is tramps fighting in Tesco in their jammies absolutely hillarious!! Anyone spotted any deals on a GOPRO?
mouthwash
Is it a requirement to leave your dignity at the door when you attend one of these sales? I can't see one person with a shred of dignity remaining in any of those news articles.. All for a few quid off of a crappy TV. Great success planet earth. 350 Russ
Don't know about you guys but every second post on my facebook is tramps fighting in Tesco in their jammies absolutely hillarious!! Anyone spotted any deals on a GOPRO? I bought myself the garmin VIRB elite hd today on Amazon for £180, it's their competitor with the hero 3 black edition. No idea how good it will be but not a bad price I think considering it had an lcd screen and wifi Edit; it's now 60% off for the next 2 hours!! Wish I had waited now. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00EQ36ZY2/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1417192291&sr=8-1π=AC_SY200_QL40# Edited November 28, 2014 by 350 Russ
steve916
Anyone know where I can get a load of empty xbox one boxes? I want to fill them with bricks and stand outside the shop selling them, and have people fighting over them On a serious note, I did buy 3 iPad minis from tesco online for £149 each

Yes the shops may be partly to blame but they aren't forcing people to behave in that way. Totally agree. A local Tesco Extra near me was closed for over an hour after fights had broken out. Honestly can't believe the way some people act at these sales. Personally I think we should stop all this "American Black Friday" cr*p before it get's too far out of hand & someone get's seriously hurt or worse killed. If they don't stop it then it needs to be properly organized with ticket allocations of products or similar as Dan mentioned.

It wouldn't surprise me if the HSE get involved and it doesn't happen again. The shops can still have their sales, but keep them online only. You're right I know but some of those people are incredibly stupid and believe that on this day they will get bargains like no other sale offers them, ...which is rubbish imo. I'm sure they'll be similar if not better deals come boxing day etc but then you don't see people acting like animals at the boxing day sales. As I said & Dan mentioned if there was some sort of ticket allocation for first come first serve then I doubt they'd be so much trouble. Mudman
Not content with having US events thrown down our throats seems people are starting to look like a few American friends on mine who overfrequent Macca's. Also one of the pics is reminiscent of aid workers delivering rice to starving villagers but in this case its Polaroid TV's. Classy. Message to one of the ladies grappling for a telly - please report to Mr Gatland c/o Millenium Stadium Cardiff as we hear Gethin Jenkins has a knock and you will probably get a game given todays performance as a prop forward Edited November 28, 2014 by Mudman
