LRF4N
As most of you know the skyline has gone so got this to replace it for now Was getting a bit bored of the 90s jap interior and build quality. Also my commute is mainly stop start rush hour traffic so decided auto is the way to go I have always loved beamers but never actually owned one so thought now was the time 325 m sport auto, ox blood interior, parking sensors, xenons. Needs some tlc but nothing major. Love that bmw engine note. Doesn't turn heads like the skyline or the zed but being inconspicuous is sometimes a good thing
veeg33
Nice one. I always like them. Automatic is always best at traffic jams.

14N
I do like the e46 coupe. Had a few myself. Looks a nice one
marzman
Love the interior colour. Hope reliability is good for you. I've had a few of these and wouldnt have another.
Mikey81
Do the facelifts have the same boot floor issue? If so if it's under 10 years old get to BMW quickly for it to be inspected. I was tempted by an e46 but I can't standard the interior, that said I love that colour
Humpy
I do like these and that interior is a pretty funky colour.

LRF4N
Cheers Liam il have a look I was enjoying the car up until now!
Zeezeebaba
That should be fine it's really the M3 that suffers from rear subframe issues. I've had two 46s including the M3 and for every day use the 330ci sport I had was better and more reliable than the M3. Good buy mate. 14N
Yeah, I thought it was just the e46 M3 that suffered from the subframe problems.
Mikey81
I know of an e46 328i that had the issue, it's a design fault so can happen on them all. Redish motorsport have a load of info and a kit should the worst happen. They are a good car for the money if you like the inside of them
LRF4N
No worries. It's going in for a service soon so il have it checked Bmw interiors have never been that exciting. They're solid but plain
Zeezeebaba
Another thing to check is the rear springs especially at the base where they sit in the cup they are prone to cracking before breaking completely. I would imagine if a car has been stiffened or lowered it may punch through the boot floor but on standard springs and bushes unlikely even the slightly stiffer m sport set up.
