JB-)
Do they all do this? No water ever gets in to the car, it just sits on the sill until the door is opened. Edited November 22, 2014 by JB-)
glrnet
That's not right, mine doesn't do that at all.
JB-)
I was wondering if it's because my drive slopes a bit. The car is always parked nose up. I should probably try parking it the other way around and see if the same happens. Maybe it's just got really good door seals
ChrisB
Parked nose up, mine does that - it's normal for my car. Not saying it's good, but that seems to be what happens. If you park nose down, or flat then it goes away. I have no problems with water getting in either
comrade
Mine used to do that, but not anymore. Have no idea why that is. Never caused any issues so couldn't really be bothered to investigate.

Don't won't to park the other way around either, reversing off in to the street is that bit more awkward I should probably investigate how the water gets there in the first place and see if that seems right. Hooch
Mine does that now and again after very heavy rain but its never bothered me as it doesn't get right in. Mine is also nose up so could be that.

veeg33
If you want to track where the water comes from, you can try with some concentrated corn flour mixture with water. That should leave a track behind after few minutes when it settles down and pretty low cost yet easy to clean after 😎 Edited November 23, 2014 by veeg33
martybhoy
My car does that depending where I park on the driveway. I openned the door yesterday morning sat for a few seconds then got some drips down my arm. Fine when the door is shut though. Just water running down when you move the car I'd say
