Winter tyres going on! after reading next few weeks forecast!!

beginning next week temperatures are set to plunge with possibility of snow on and off leading up to Christmas so this weekend I am putting on the winter shoes and alloys!!!!

Not a chance of a cold blast just yet, The Met office are more concerned that we're going to get a series of Atlantic storms (like last year ). After looking at tonights computer weather model runs I can't see proper winter starting until mid December at the earliest.

yeah I heard they are having it bad over there at the moment! thing is though things still carry on! we get and inch of snow and the country grinds to a halt!

Actually, I was a teenager in the infamous winter of 1963 and despite massive 15 foot drifts my dad got to work every day (15 miles away) and I only missed one day at school (3 miles away). Probably would be worse today though with 3 or 4 times the number of cars on the road.
