JetSet
The Company at the back of my house "Deeside Trucks" repair all sorts of vehicles and are a main dealer for Scania. Every so often they have an open day for prospective customers (who quite often arrive in Helicopters). Several years ago now they had about 6 brand new Scania Cabs lined up ready for the open day. Yes, you guessed it they all had their wheels stolen, goodness knows how they managed it as the site is in operation 24/7, they have security cameras and they also have just one entrance which is electronically operated from inside the workshop at night. O.K, it's possible that someone could have parked outside and the wheels manhandled over the 10 feet high security fence but that would have been so risky as the entire parking area is lit up like a Christmas tree. Anyway, some years after that they had a wagon stolen with about 40k's worth of Aluminium ingots on board, must have had some method of by passing the electronic gate as CCTV pictures showed the wagon going through an open gate. Mudman
I wasnt sure if this meant German wheels stolen by thieves or German thieves - you would hope that the dealership had a camera no ??
