Wings and driftting

just a thought, why don't drifters run V shaped wings? ie when looking at the car from above, the wing would make a V, rather than a straight line across the back of the car.

 

That way, when a car is drifting at an angle of say 30 degrees, one half of the wing could be set up so its facing the air flow properly, and so provide a meaningful amount of downforce.

 

or even, a wing that rotates to match the airflow... stranger things have happened in aviation...

no idea but alot of tuner wings are actually bomgerang shaped so i guess it does the same thing just oppersite side of the car

Thats why his engine blew so much downforce the front of the car lifted up to 45 degress and oil surged to the rear
