WhackyWill
Only place : Flat off Clearways a Brands, if your a few inches off the bumper of the car in front change from 3 to 5th and use the draft to dive down the inside at Paddock as you "should " be 5 MPH quicker. Apart from that ..NO :scare:
Grundy
Seem to remember Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond both say they were shifting into 5th instead of 3rd when driving a 350Z on Top Gear. Obviously have much better drivers on here. It's on Top Gear, must be true. To be fair, I blew my engine up on track from going 6th to 3rd, thinking I was going to 5th.... Jokes, nope, not had that problem yet (But I did blow my engine up) Can't see how pushing the shifter up in a straight line is hard to comprehend.
AliveBoy
Is it half term still? School child watches dave all day, scratches his nuts and goes "yeah, I've just seen a problem with the Z, let's go wind some people up" Then he gets here with his "problem" and finds that it's not actually a problem and as such looks like 1) a fool 2) like he can't drive (which he can't, because he's 14 and scratches his nuts all day). If you're genuinely having this issue, have you thought of contacting these guys? www.theaa.com/driving-school Failing that, I'd try a mechanic.
The Chubby Ninja
I've never missed 3rd and hit 5th whether it be on the road, track, quarter mile. It's really not hard lol Maybe if you went into 5th you might not have binned your car the last 2 times I just seen this . But I can't drift in 5th..... and clearly can't drift in 2nd or 3rd judging by my buckled wheels
