Lyger
I have taken the 350z FairLady off the road for the winter but the battery keeps dying (I fitted a new Varta Blue Battery) , i want to run the engine every couple of weeks to keep everything lubed up but its getting a pain recharging the battery every time i want to do it. I think the alarm is running the battery down this led to another post i put up about being locked out which the good folks on this forum helped me with. So i was wondering if anyone had any ideas on fitting a battery isolator switch so i can take the load off the battery, the alarm doesnt seem to mind being not powered up while the battery is disconnected . 350zedd
I would of thought just disconnecting one of the battery leads would do the trick, rather than the hassle of fitting an isolator.
Lyger
Yeah could do that but its messing about with spanners and i dont think itll do the terminal or the car any good
Jdm owner
Tbh bud that's what most other peeps do. Disconnect the neg and wrap in a cloth. Also wrapped a blanket around the battery, and usually start once a week,

350zedd
Good choice....I was thinking of the competition type ones which are a bit more involved to install.
