jessejk
Oh ok yes in that case they are factory wheels.
GMballistic
Not sure what you mean by factory wheels, sorry but going to get them from tyreleader... He means are they Rays alloys? GT4 alloys? etc Generally the Zed is supposed to run a staggered tyre set up. E.g: With Rays alloys for example the tyre sizes would be 225/45/18 Front and 245/45/18 Rear. StevoD
if you wanna run 245 the fronts need to be 40 profile or as you say 225/45/18
Ekona
225/45/18 front and 245/45/18 rear. And not Pirelli, they're awful. FK453 would be a much better choice and cheaper, too.

Heard quite a few complaints about FK453's, Hankook Ventus V12's or Kumho KU39's would be better choices IMO.

4RE Leather
Defo not. The traction control would come on and you would not get above 25-30 mph. As I found out when I put 245/.35 on the front and 275/40 on the rear. Soon as I put 245/40 on front she was fine The aspect needs to be the same.

Front - 245/40/18 Rear - 245/45/18 Regards Jessef I've been running this setup since April no issue at all including drift and track work , but your front wheels arnt as wide as your rear so will look funny I'm using 9.5" wide wheels alround

Ekona
I think we can both agree that telling someone that running same size tyres all round is not a good thing to do unless you're deliberately trying to have car that is unstable at the rear. For drifting yes, I get that, for road use no way.
StevoD
Will it work was the question answer is yes Is it advised on a staggard rim set up no
brillomaster
i have to say, a 245/40 tyre is actually 1% smaller in diameter than a 225/45 tyre, so i think those sizes would maintain correct difference so as to not mess with the traction control... but there would be handling differences running a square setup on a car designed to run staggered widths. jessejk
Thanks for the advice guys. So I'll be sticking with the staggered approach and going for Front 225/45/18 Read - 245/45/18 If not Pirelli's any other recommendations... Ekona
If you were looking at Pirelli prices, then the Michelin PSS are the ones to go for. If you cannot stretch that far, then something like the FK453s would be worth a punt.
