liamgdr
Im currently in the process of removing all the crap bose equipment from my car and replacing it with a proper install. I plan to put two amps in the enclosure where the bose subwoofer currently sits, but I need to get the metal plate that the sub sits in out. Do all the rear plastics have to come out or is there an easy way to get the metal out. Cheers, Liam.
Wasso
Yup, plastics have to come out. Door strips, rear quarter sections, then unplug the Cig Lighter, unscrew the two bolts that run horizontal into the rear of the arm rest. You'll probably have to take some bolts out from around the passenger cubby behind the seat. Then take out the large section which houses the sub and cubby. It should look a little like this. liamgdr
FFS my worst nightmare One upside is that wiring route looks bloody easy, did the plastics go back on easy with that extra wire running through? Did you send the power cables down the passenger side?
Wasso
Yup power down passenger side. Plastics go back easier than getting them off. Just make sure you do the fitting in reverse. Wires in the central section are fine, very accommodating.
