wmr1980
When I change my clutch (which I am due to do probably next year) I'm keen to replace the flywheel with a lightweight flywheel. Is there any advantage on a clutch upgrade too or is the OEM clutch more than good enough? I'm not going down the FI route - as much as I'd like to I'm quite happy with the car as it is. I've nearly always upgraded the clutch as and when they needed changing because well, it's a new shiny thing but also I generally prefer a slightly more aggressive clutch. If there is literally no point unless I'm going FI route then that's fine. I'll probably get a master cylinder upgrade too whilst I'm at it. FYI - car will have all standard mods, plenum, decats, exhaust and remap, plus I'm going to install a 1.5way LSD too. Be keen on your thoughts. Ewen@Clark Motorsport
If you are planning on track work then an organic kit might be a good idea but the OEM clutch on a SMF will cope well
