Kev
Seems to be mostly japspeed stuff. They put some crazy, expensive priced items on eBay, that are only a fraction of the price in their shop.
HassanZ
very good feedback, this ad always amazes me .. NISSAN 370Z Z34 STAINLESS STEEL TITANIUM TIPS CATBACK E... £4,490.50 Postage:Free Time left:16h 48m That's because the exhaust is out of stock so they price the item extremely high so no one purchases it and revert the listing back to normal price once it's back in stock. They do this to save on expenses relisting the item

If I was them, I would personally go to the manufacturer in Japan and collect it to speed up the process and still make a profit! :lol

Mudman
I think traders put high prices on items out of stock to keep the listing live - Sure Chris at Tarmac mentioned something about it
Ekona
Think about how much the bare materials cost. Then think about the labour to make it. Then think about the tooling required. Then think about the manufacturer making a profit. Then think about the seller making a profit. Then think just how little all of those sums have to be to make the price what it is. Is cheaper always good? Or to put it more simply, it's like a £5 bottle of wine compared with a £10 bottle of wine. Ultimately they both do the same thing, but when you factor in profit you realise just how cheaply made the £5 must be, which is why you put up with it rather than savour it. That said, sometimes I've come across cheap wines that were actually pretty good for what they are, so it can be done but it's the exception rather than the rule. Dare you take a punt?

ZEUS
I've had a Y pipe from them. It is Japspeed stuff. They also list items with bidding on them as oppose to buy it now , do it that way and it works out cheaper usually (well it did for me). They delivered it fast and were great to deal with
kingrob
Ok great i will try to get a few bits from them then and see how they hold up
veef13
Have dealt with them before many years ago, jaded experience as I got some camber arms for my old 200sx, and they snapped after about 2 miles, luckily at low speeds. Not their fault, but makes me doubt the quality of their suppliers... Was a long time ago mind Having said that, their customer service was excellent Edited October 17, 2014 by veef13
Ricey
Looking at their stock they've a made a real effort to specialise in the absolute dreg end of market quality and as such the prices are 'amazingly' cheap. Quite a good strategy to be honest as a wide range of shiny shiny products does suggest 'professional'. I'd hazard a guess it's just a comprehensive selection of eBay specials though
andybp
I've had a few items from them the y pipe i bought was excellent good fit good finish well made been on the car 2yrs and still perfect but the exhaust i bought was a good price and the welding and material quality were good but poor fit and sounds harsh so mostly you get what you pay for if your short on cash it'll do if not pay for something better
kingrob
Hi Yeah i am only after a Y pipe so i think it should be safe at worst i will replace it if it is not up to the job

mikejbry
Very cheap for a y pipe, pretty tempting, even as a worst case it's got to be better than the OEM pipe?
hensh65
I got one to trade in my zed cheaper than that which was japspeed. Search uk-performance-uk. I didnt actually fit it or hear it fitted but it looked quite good for the money. This I got it at £116 delivered
zebedy
Thing is, stuff like rad caps or rocker caps are what they are and dont need to cost a fortune and still be shiny shiny or annodised. Same as an oil catch tank with them for 20 buck. does the same thing as 100 catch tank so why not. Then there are structural stuff like braces, drop like etc. These Id be a bit wierie of. Just my 2p's worth.
