Keyser
Got something to help out on the Radical - mainly for tyre changes at track side as I can't get any trolley jacks under the front In Action Works a treat

brillomaster
I must say, I really like the design of these jacks. saw drifters using them on the rear diff, one operation and done, car is in the air. really looking forward to seeing the radical in action this summer! Keyser
Just lift it, surely it weighs the same as a small child? Even if I could I would still need something to put it on while I change the wheel I must say, I really like the design of these jacks. saw drifters using them on the rear diff, one operation and done, car is in the air. really looking forward to seeing the radical in action this summer! Great bit of kit - this one is for single seater / open wheel type cars (suitable for what I have) they do a heavy duty one for Rally and track cars bit more expensive but I can see the value - it's quick and easy to use, the handle unclips so easy to carry - I have 4 bits of wood about 4 foot long and a jack at the moment just to get her in the air. I can see the time when you arrive with slicks and it's raining or you start the day on wets and it drys out - be great to have this around then - that will be the day I forget to put it in the trailer though! brillomaster
when we take our beemer out the spare wheels, trolley jack, pump and wheel spanner all live in the boot, so we're never without them. in addition to that going forwards will be a few litres of water, and a few litres of oil
Keyser
Pre Track Season Prep / Running Repairs. My first track day is booked and the Radical has been sat on the trailer pretty much since the last outing early in December last year, so now I have the garage back for a couple of weeks and only 2 weeks before I am on track I thought I'd get on with a few bits to get her ready for the next outing. First on my list was to repair some damage I sustained during my visit to the infield on my last outing My brake cooling duct on the drivers side is no longer connected It's supposed to look like this but it's just floating around now as you can see the CF is badly damaged It has ripped out from here So I got onto the Radical site - a new one is only £200.00!!!!! So as I now have a lathe Lets see what we can do Scrounged this for the scarp bin at my mates engineering shop Lets get on with it then Spot on onto the inside The finished article trimmed the damaged CF and joined them up Back on the car pipework hooked back up Next (makes the lathe a cheap tool with just that one repair 0 Edited March 15, 2015 by Keyser

Keyser
With a track day on Tuesday - although the forecast is not good I had only this weekend to get my trailer kitted out, I have been meaning to do it since the beginning of the year but have just not had time, it was the trailer or the Ace Cafe this weekend and it wa a tough call but I had to get this sorted so - Here is my lovely Brian James RS3 trailer as it was at the beginning of the weekend Great to get the car in but no room for spares so after some very careful measurements (I hope they are right or the car ain't gonna fit I started with an angle bracket (it has to clear the roof and the hydraulics) Then some legs First cross bars Test clearance Roof down Of course to make sure it wasn't easy I needed to make it removable so I can take it out if I want to move other cars around, Bit more fabrication on the tyre rack Then a tool box/fuel can shelf was added First bolt up More after I sort the photos

WhackyWill
Great job. Unfortunately if you race a Radical you can only use Radical parts at their astronomical cost, otherwise it will not pass scrutineer.. Talk about a monopoly..!! Track days no problem..
