leet8845
My drivers door handle has a few scratches on it so I'd like to remove it a repaint it. I wanted to keep it same silver, does anyone know the code of the paint or a shade that matches? Thanks
GMballistic
No idea sorry but if you are doing it yourself then why not just visit your local Auto paints shop. They would then match the colour you show them and put it in a spray can for you.
Randy_Baton
If you want to spray them off your car. I have a spare set for sale, it'll mean your cars still usable and lockable while the paints drying.
leet8845
Good idea, I was only going to spray one. I shall go to the paint shop. Thanks for the offer Randy but luckily have a spare car and I keep the Z on a gated drive and will disconnect the battery overnight whilst they dry. If you are able to I'd paint both of the handles otherwise one will definitely look different. The reason is even if you have the exact paint match/code you will find it near on impossible to get the paint to match the old handle as they have been exposed to UV rays, weather etc for years whereas the freshly painted one won't have been. If you are going to do this you might as well do it right first time.
