Garyt350z
I had this a wile now and is only an issue over rough parts of the road, I thought it was suspension related or something to do with the travel of the shock. But my mechanic says everything is as it should be. But it's really annoying! GRRRR Are there any part parts subject to wear in and around the wheels which would give the metal in metal clunking sound over uneven ground? Garyt350z
Ps and it passed MOT :S
hensh65
next time you go over the rough ground and its making the noise hold the brake in and see if the noise stops. If it does then you will most likely have the banana arm fault google it as its common

Jud1
yeah, I get a strange jingle/rattle too, but on the back left - mine is almost like the ariel is hitting the side of the car (more like the window, glass sound) - AND, worse .... it's intermittent!! ... I'll find it, if I have to rebuild the whole car ... I'll find it!! Edited October 10, 2014 by Jud1
Garyt350z
Without taking it to pieces to find out, if and when I get my suspension upgrade, would that be replacing all the possible parts at fault?

Garyt350z
I have found the superpro bush set for the compression arm, but also looking for the whiteline one, and the closest I can find is this,Check out this item I found on eBay: http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=181391846175&alt=web. Looks to have the same parts but it's called strut rod? :s

GIXXERUK
just a thought but rather than replace everything wouldn't it be more cost effective to travel to good indy who knows zeds to diagnose this ? unless you want to upgrade anyway ? Garyt350z
I live in northern Ireland and can count how many zed's in like one hand, so finding a specialist guru to check this out would be like a needle in a haystack. Hence the torture am causing on this fourm!lol I have worked at all my previous cars myself but each one was a brand new learning curve. So some advice and alot of head scratching should seee thru. Defo think my first point of call will be the banana arm bushes tho
