JoKeR
I'm doing an oil and oil filter change soon and was wondering if any one has moved the position of there oil filter into the engine bay (making it accessible from the top). Main reason is just for look but also ease of access when changing it out next time. Is it easy to do? Any real benefits? Guides? Is it worth doing or is it a waste of time? Thanks That's what she 'Zed' :-/
ATTAK Z
Sounds like a crazy idea to me ... but what do I know ?
Tricky-Ricky
The more un necessary plumbing you add to the oil system, the more chance of getting a leak, apart from that if you get the pipes the wrong way around you can kill your engine. ATTAK Z
HaHa I'm valeting my interior soon and was wondering if any one has moved the position of their seats into the engine bay (making the carpets much easier to clean). Main reason is just for look but also ease of access when cleaning it next time. Is it easy to do? Any real benefits? Guides? Is it worth doing or is it a waste of time? GMballistic
At least you're thinking outside of the norm JoKeR. More interesting to read than "what colour should I do my Rays, I was thinking of silver, has anyone done that before??"
lolzz
Frankly oil filter is in a nice position, easy to access and to change while you are under there pouring out the oil.
