Elliot350
So I was bored today and fitted my password jdm wiper delete although it will need to be removed when in the bodyshop! It looks ok but once the cars had the paint sorted I may remove the O ring and use a little clear silicone sealant so it sits flatter. Also removed the boot weight whilst I was there, makes a fair bit of difference! Wiper arms are drying after being sprayed gloss black will get them on in the next few days once they have hardened. Cheers Elliot
GMballistic
That bung sort of looks like a coin has been left on the boot from a distance, ...what about having it sprayed body colour whilst you're having stuff done? Just an idea ~ doesn't look that bad although as you say it would be better if it sat flusher with the panel.
Elliot350
I was thinking to get it sprayed but want to keep the engraving defined. Was more to be a bit different and don't really want to get it welded up. Will have a think

Elliot350
So there hasn't been any updates for a while, progress has been slow but the car is now in the bodyshop. I stripped all the bumpers, handles and badges off etc and began to flat stuff done in preparation for fresh paint. Worst part by far was stripping the mirrors completely down as I have decided to do the base plates gloss black. Overview of the work being done, Full respray in standard colour wv2, Gloss black door handles, mirror baseplates and b pillar trims, Smoothed off plate holes and nissan badge on front bumper, Jdm rear bumper painted my colour and fitted, Corrosion free bonnet painted and fitted, Smoked side repeaters and insides of the front headlights done gloss black. I will also be fitting all my carbon goodies with the help of my mates bodyshop once all the painting is done and car back together. Here are some pictures of the process/progress Here are some pictures of the front bumper smoothing, using an old damaged bumper I made plugs for the holes which were then plastic welded in place, likewise I have begun the same for the nissan badge. And last but not least the bumper and bonnet both flatted down ready Please excuse the rubbish quality of the pictures but hope you enjoy the update! Elliot350
So the car has been at the bodyshop for a long time now! The best things come to those who wait right?! Due to getting mates rates a fair few jobs have come before mine hence taking so long. We are starting to get somewhere now, the whole bodyshell has been flatted down and repairs done, awaiting primer this week. Underside of the bonnet needs painting grey then can be bolted on permanently and aligned etc. I have also installed my new 8k bulbs in the headlights in between working on the body. 8k main beam bulbs, silvatec indicators and smd sidelights... More posts to come as and when I remember to update! Cheers guys

Elliot350
May also need some guidance in the next couple of months or so on something beginning with S and ending in R which increases power by a substantial amount
