philw99
So want a turbo fitting to the Z, Know people have said on here before if you want a turbo car go buy one. Still think it would be amazing to have one fitted to the Z. Just know i'd introduce a massive amount of unreliability, plus the cost is unbelievable. Flex
So pretty pointless post
mouthwash
I'd direct any questions to someone like A9H-RX ( I think that's his username ) as he's got a tt Zed and know he's put a lot of effort into it . But you've already answered your own questions about it, cost is prohibitive for most people as it's more than the car is worth.. Sorry if this is just a statement about the fact you want a turbo, in which case, I want one too. Grundy
We wouldn't say go buy a turbo'd car, maybe say go buy a turbo'd Zed. Turbo build your looking at £15k+ easy.

mouthwash
I'd imagine it's pretty expensive to put a 1JZ engine in a 350z? I don't actually know as I've never looked at the cost?
philw99
Well funny you should say about the 1JZ. I'm pretty sure my brother has one sat in his Supra, might have to get my hands on that. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Jetpilot
I would imagine once you have bought a 1 or 2 jz engine, fitting kit, ecu and all the other associated costs it would be the same as fi'ing the v6. http://www.ebay.co.u...A-/230950395528 Edited October 2, 2014 by Jetpilot
Grundy
10K+ for engine and ecu etc. But then you need labour and you also need to budget for little things that you forget.
Ekona
Never mind supporting mods. Plus constant fettling. Plus higher running costs. But yeah, done correctly it can be good fun.
