JohnPat
The drivers seat, forward/backward motion, was not working on my Z when I bought it. A few weeks ago I thought I had narrowed it down to the motor as the switch was delivering +/- 12V and when I stripped the motor down there was a lot of damage inside. I just took receipt of a used working motor. When I connect it to the passengers side cable the motor bursts in to life but when I connect it to the drivers side there is nothing, despite the same voltage being present when the switch is operated. I have checked the pin connections on plug and socket supplying the motor, all good. I am now stumped. Is their some other component in the circuit that would result in the voltage being present with no load but fails to supply current when the motor is connected? KyleR
Maybe the switch is buggered?
GMballistic
Maybe the switch is buggered? This would be my guess as well. Had to have a new switch put on my drivers seat when I first got my Zed but luckily for me it was done under warranty. I'd PM zmanalex if I was you to get a good condition used switch. Zeezeebaba
I've been to see a few where the switch is temperamental.
