the_doc
Yeah you are right, that car could easily push more. My friend is currently leaning more towards a custom fabricated turbo set up with the intention of keeping it looking as close to OEM in appearance as possible. The zed that he's buying is a little rarer than normal and he doesn't want to detract from that too much.

A9H-RX
Easy 15k spend under the bonnet for forged TT conversion. Good luck finding a decent TT kit though Yeah, that appears to be the issue tbh. Twin Turbo 350Z just come up for sale the other day ~ definitely cheaper than doing it all yourself. Link: http://www.350z-uk.c...win-turbo-350z/ Cheers, its a nice car but I know my friend is looking for bigger numbers. If you read it though the guys only running on 440cc injectors and it isn't a built engine either. Definitely needs bigger injectors and with a good built engine could easily see some much bigger numbers imo. It would be a great starting point is what I'm getting at. Most reliable TT kit ever made. Only problem is the engine isn't guaranteed a good runner and isn't actually 505bhp as per confirmation from Mark at Abbey. Expect to spend more than 15k for custom fab work. Kind of makes me think if your 'friend' has money like this to spend, why on a 350z..? the_doc
Yeah its safe to say he has a decent amount of disposable income. The zed my friend is buying is a fairladyZ version ST typeG there aren't many over here. Especially not in my colour. It was the maroon one at japfest2 on the club stand. You probably saw it tbh. A9H-RX
reliable? really? My kit has done well over 30k boosted and not a single problem. Most other kits you tend to replace the parts or uprate them.
the_doc
Yeah, they released the type g in 2006 for a year in Japan. Had a few extra bits like rays ver.2 alloys, kick plates, cabernet red interior and arch lips too.

A9H-RX
Yeah, your car looked good at japfest. I was quite impressed with it. Thanks. Changed a bit since then with new 10J / 12J deep dish wheels. Few tweaks over winter for next year's show season
