How did you find attaching the heat sheild to the snorkel? Looking good

It is an extremely tight space and fit for that part.

You are given two screws to attach the snorkel to the heat shield. Instead of having them exposed, I used a cable tie and made sure it was tight on keeping them together.

Hope that helps  ....never underestimate a cable tie!

No mods this time but a detailing session using my new kestral das6 polisher.

For those interested. I used meguiars ultimate compound on a cutting pad then autoglym hd wax. My first attempt so I've seen a couple spots I could've done better but very happy with the results.

Made the ultimate sin though no before pics.

Cheers mate, I wasn't sure on it myself but I've been impressed on the azure it really gives it almost like a 'layer' of shine and the water repelling has been good so far with just one light coat I'll top up hte wax again in a few weeks for the summer.

Next update on bits ordered.

Bilstein b6 shocks (on back order so a few weeks till I get them)

Tein 15mm drop springs.

HR bonnet from Nissan. Goes to body shop in a fortnight.

Carbon fibre wing mirror covers.

19" ruff wheels. Plus some decent rubber.

Wasso plenum spacer ordered.

Awaiting Torqen for a new clutch slave cylinder and braided line.

Next possible update after they are all fitted could be a carbon fibre nismo v1 wing.

Pics of bits fitted soon.

The wheels are on. I chose to get them refurbed in gloss black.

I took about 10 photos but I don't think any of the photos do them just and really need to be seen in person to see how aggressively they look in the arches with the bigger lip on the rears especially.

Anyway here's one letting you lot see them. I think some tein springs are in order for the correct arch fitment. Just wish my bilstein shocks would hurry up and I could get them on.

All my bodywork was carried out by RM bodywork and I couldnt be happier. The colour match is identical. I can't praise them high enough for the work.

Next mods will be bilstein shocks, clutch slave cylinder + braided line. I was going to go tein springs but with the side steps on the car is just too close to the ground now for my needs, any lower would only rip parts to bits.

Anyway enjoy guys!

Cars looking great loving that spoiler :) so with those sidesteps how close to ground? You still on stock suspension from when made.

Yeah stock suspension and after the side steps are on it leaves just over 3/3.5 inches id say. It's enough so that I have to take speedbumps etc very carefully.

Thanks guys for the comments.

Update ahead of tomorrow's work.

- bilstein suspension all round with new rear top mounts. (Couldn't source front except from Nissan who wanted £150...)

-new clutch slave cylinder and braided line from Torqen.

-plenum spacer from wasso.

-car will also be getting full wheel alignment and balancing to go with new wheels and suspension. Hopefully it'll now drive even better

-plus I've just cleaned and oiled my popcharger as I suspect it's taken on some dust from the bodyshop.
