Anth4130
But what the feck is it? Lexx has already told me to check vacuum pipework which I will be doing but just wondering if anyone has came across this before? https://www.facebook...531848315573851
GMballistic
Has someone maybe connected one of these to your car vacuum lines just to wind you up... Seriously though could well be a small split in a pipe somewhere sucking in air when it's switched off at a guess.
Anth4130
Haha I hate finding vac leaks :'( I was thinking it was the intake pipe, looked a bit crappy last time I saw it (at the throttle body end) but it wouldnt idle/run fine if it was sucking in unmetered air? gareth29
sounds like air is being forced out somewhere rather than sucked in - could it be the pcv pipework leading to the intake? - think you need to get your lughole a bit closer and try and pinpoint the source
GIXXERUK
I'm guessing it's sucking when the engine is running and sealing and then releasing when stopped, as it doesn't sounds as though it's affecting idle, performance or braking (servo pipe) It's not quiet so should be an easy find
