Digsy
Nice! Pretty much a track set up that. I'm interested to see how you find the Yellow Stuff pads for regular driving.
Removed
Nice! Pretty much a track set up that. I'm interested to see how you find the Yellow Stuff pads for regular driving. disks are not that extreme. single pieces, just like OEMs. Nice little dimples and slots though. Pads yeah are recommended for track only apparently due to the time they take to get up to temperature (which could be deemed a bit risky on normal roads, by some) DBA5000 are a bit nicer as they are 2 pieces, although I'm no fan of DBAs personally(search to see why)
Gus
...... Pads yeah are recommended for track only apparently due to the time they take to get up to temperature (which could be deemed a bit risky on normal roads, by some) Val, not quite correct :- Bluestuff are the Track only, Yellowstaff are Track and Road Yellowstuff : - "Although a full race material and capable of high temperature use with very good wear life, this new formulation sets a new trend in race type brake pad compounds that can be used on the highway. Adam@Z1auto.com
good stuff - I've never used the drilled ones but we use the 4000 slotted all the time on a wide variety of local cars, from Z's to Evos and Subarus and they have worked out great for us. I ran 5000's on my own car for a while last year with my AP calipers, as they were much cheaper than the AP replacement disks (and lighter too!), and they did very well with a wide variety of pads gold color is very nice! enjoy
paul
the gold matches the brembo caliper (the real reason behind me buying them)
