reefshark
Hi all had the Z for nearly a year now so thought I'd put up a build thread, due to the Europe trip i haven't had as much money as i would of liked to spend on the Z also with my other car (1984 Rover SD1 Vitesse) taking some of the funds, should be able to get more done on the Z in the next year. anyway on with the pics Bought the car in November 2013 as a completely standard (other than a double din head unit) UK spec GT. Told my parents id be keeping it standard, lasted all of two weeks before i was buying parts lol First up was a K&N induction kit, wouldn't advise buying it fitment isn't great and the link pipes are poor, sounds good though. Then came a Wasso plenum spacer in subtle orange Then came front disc and pads as the old ones were pretty far gone, EBC ultimax discs with red stuff pads The new brakes helped when out for drives with friends Then came the job i'd been putting off for a while replacement clutch and flywheel. thanks to clarke motorsport for the parts Due to the exhaust being made of 90% rust it had to stay in place which made removing the gearbox interesting Old parts pretty far gone, thinking they were originals

reefshark
Rear discs and pads were replaced same as the fronts didn't get any pics for some reason. Was wanting to get an aftermarket exhaust to let the awesome noise the VQ engine makes but couldn't afford one, but when the old back box decided it didnt like the car anymore and pretty much fell off i did the popular in the states mod "muffle delete" made out of mild steel to get the car runnnig again will redo in stainless in the new year Put exhaust tips on to tidy the ends up pic was taken pre tips easy to do if you can weld and sounds so good Went to a few car meets with friends and their Z's both on here Kittykat1988 and Jehuty the first styling mod carbon duct and removed number plate holder Think that's about it for now, thanks for your time.
