JetSet
I don't know if this is just me but when I went to comprehensive school (1990's onwards) I remember all the teachers where aged something like 30-40/50 somethings but nowadays it seems the teachers are all really young with a lot of them being under 30. I found it very difficult to assess teachers and in fact people in general's ages when I was 16, anyone over 21 looked ancient to me Pete
rtbiscuit
These tend to be the stereotypical views: if your male and sleep with a teacher your seen as a legend by your mates fathers might possibly see their son as some kind of champ if a little displeased I think sometimes its seen that its not the womans fault that they feel to the mature charms of a young student. but when it comes to young girls under the legal age, males are seen as predatory, perverted, sick etc. parents are shocked that their little girls have been defiled by the older male. that there is no way the girl made the move that the male must have forced themselves on them etc. its not dissimilar attitude towards rape and other gender based crimes. of course this is not always the case there are cases of female teachers who have been fully prosecuted under the law.
