Angrybiker
Surely it's going to be difficult to house him in a general prison? A cellmate could very easily take advantage of him. Will he be allowed to keep his prosthetics? He's vulnerable without them and his human rights say he should be allowed them. What about the fact they could very easily be used as a weapon though, not necessarily by Pistorius himself, but I'm sure it wouldn't take long to get them off him between two people. He'll spend the 10 months in the hospital wing. No chance he'll end up in Gen pop Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

GMballistic
Maximum of 5 years... What a joke.. Not a very funny joke. Honestly unbelievable to me especially as I've been hearing he may only serve 10 months then the rest under house arrest. Such an injustice to Reeva Steenkamp's memory. Here's something to think about: In South Africa several serious crimes carry mandatory minimum sentences. For most murders, it's a life sentence. But Pistorius was found guilty of culpable homicide, which has no mandatory minimum. Nelson Mandela: 28 years in prison. Car theft/Drug dealing: mandatory 15 years minimum in prison.
