I am planning to have a go at fitting mine before send it off to be painted. Quote

Wasso Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 It's the same as OEM. It might need some very fine adjustment to clip in. Although I've noticed with the copy from RT the light holders aren't exactly perfect and very tight. So make sure its right before being fitted otherwise its a paint to get the light holders out. Fluke Posted September 10, 2014 Author Posted September 10, 2014 Thanks. the Chargespeed I have is from RT. I have a spare bumper and plan to use that as a template for all the holes etc.. And hopefully it will fit without needing trimming as. I just want to send it off to be painted. Quote
Wasso Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 That'll be fine. You can file the areas in which the bulb holder and switch will reside when you get it back. Or you can do it prior to painting. To be fair the copy should have the holes already in place?? Quote

The item looked really ropey when I finally got it. It was shipped to the wrong address, everytime I spoke to them they sounded half asleep and were unhelpful and I think they are overpriced. My car is my daily driver and I thought it might be easier to try and fit it my self and then remove it and get it dropped off for painting. Quote
