embrace
http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=181318453981&alt=web Has any one tried one of these before? Ive read a few good reviews about improved throttle response on google but none first hand, I guess its similar to an uprev?
Clarkie
If you're after a throttle controller then go for the D1 spec as it's cheaper and does the same thing. If your car is not uprevved and you want better throttle response then this will do that job. However a full uprev will make the car a lot more driveable overall
embrace
Would you not use these if cars been remapped then?
Tricky-Ricky
Would you not use these if cars been remapped then? No need..as the remap removes the restrictions throttle response that the device does.
coldel
I had a D1Spec one, interesting sensation - throttle response increases, most settings were unusable day to day driving.
Cookie
I recently bought the D1 spec throttle controller off ebay from EPRacing for about £95 after reading the reviews from people that had them on here. Dead easy to install and I wired mine into the centre console coin tray so its out of site. Its a lot of fun when you first get it putting it in the higher SP modes but in general I now leave mine in SP3 mode and the car is still nice and easy to drive but feels a lot more responsive and smoother than standard IMO. It also has Eco mode but I've not really used it to be honest as I want to enjoy the few miles that I do Would definitely recommend them. I know Jez at Horsham sells them if you want to get one from a trader on here.
