Greenroborino
Hi, have a spotless 2003 gt, 115k on the clock. Everything as it should be but it burns around a litre of oil to every tank of juice. Do I sell it as is and for how much? Or do I fix it?? Any help greatly appreciated 😊

ATTAK Z
How long have you had the car ?
GMballistic
Welcome aboard. Hard to answer your questions though. I mean there is obviously something wrong with your Zed but.... Do you like the car? Do you have money to fix it? No idea what it would be worth to sell like that and personally I wouldn't feel it was right to sell it like that unless of course you where totally up front to potential buyers about the faults. Greenroborino
Hi GM and Attak. Had the car a couple of years now. Bought from someone who chose not to disclose issues with engine. Always been honest when selling motors and would be with this one. Think I just want to sell it as is-not too interested in spending time or money on it. Just don't know what it's worth? ATTAK Z
I traded my GM in (for a new Polo) when it was using 1 litre per 1000 miles ... I hope it's not the one you bought
Harryjax
Any sign of leak? Take it to the zed shed.
GMballistic
Just don't know what it's worth? If it is in good condition and was running right then maybe in the £5-£6K range but as is I have no idea sorry, ...maybe someone else will shed some light on what it might be worth. If it needs a new/used engine then that's probably at least £1.5K-£2K plus fitting costs to put it into context.

Greenroborino
Thanks everybody for your comments, and good advice GM! Will see if there's a local mechanic willing to quote. Like the car and would be sad to see it go. Cheers all👊
