lewis hill
Hi ive searched the forum but didn't get much info, have searched around but only seem to get a recommendation for lepsons but they want near £700 + VAT for a full refurb. I'm looking to get a price more in the region of £450, does anyone have any recommendation for that price with a quality finish? With some sort of pics of evidence? Also i live near heathrow airport so anything near london would be great. thanks Edited September 1, 2014 by lewis hill

vansman66
Yeah, happy with the finish but hard work to keep clean, hold that, in fact a bloody nightmare to keep clean when used as a daily driver in all weather. I got them off Keyser on here, the are Veilside splits, 9 front, 10 rears but only 18's.
BulletMagnet
Had my 2-piece Volks refurbed at The Wheel Genie in Huntingdon. Had the centres powdercoated sparkle silver and the dishes done in shadow chrome If I remember correctly, it was around £650 Before and after below

Why dont you split them down and rebuild them yourself?
Grundy
Price is all going to be down to what you want.... -How damaged are the wheels -Is the whole wheel going the same colour? -Are you going for some fancy colour etc.... You get what you pay for.
newkid
Could try platinum alloys in swindon. Fantastic finish and excellent service but im not sure they will do it that cheapily. You could always split them yourself thrn have them sprayed and rebuilt. That may be slightly cheaper
lewis hill
thanks for replies. Yeh i suppose i could split myself but i heard its a bitch to bolt back together with sealent! They only seem to charge £40 odd to split and build. Well they are pretty good condition just a slight pitting all over. Im just looking to get lip to a polished finish with a white pearl over blue finish to the centres or maybe a candy colour Im guessing £650 is the going rate for 3 piece? Grundy
Haha no point refurbishing for a stock colour! Got to have something different I know, I just mean the paint you want isn't just say - 5 Ltrs of Blue paint. it's like that but *3. It's why it gets more expensive.
