big si 1976
As per title I need to get some cover for my trip round France! I have used a few companies in the past but wondering who people recommend. Last year while in the middle of the Pyrenees my brothers e46 m3 packed up! Got taken to local ish garage 3 days later we were back underway!! So people, who have u used and would u use again? After single trip cover Inc repatriation & roadside assistance inclusive. Will370z
Its unlikely that standard RAC and AA cover will cover you for a period longer than a weekend. I found with the AA i was covered for 3 separate 48 hour trips in Europe per year. I paid an additional fee to cover my week away and it wasnt too much. Cover looked pretty comprehensive if anything went wrong and they would recover the vehicle to the Uk in in the worst case - and i can imagine that in itself would be expensive. Ken found the same situation with the RAC
BulletMagnet
Do a thorough service before trip, just to ease the mind that nothing pops up and surprises you. Try to use a good independent garage, as Nissan will have apprentice monkeys all over your car
big si 1976
Service at Horsham on Friday!,leave on Sunday 7th September! I am only after peoples opinions that have used European breakdown. Green flag seem the best value as they offer same terms/cover as as & RAC but half the price! But have time so any other ideas out there on who to use?? philipouk
I went with AXA breakdown cover, they seemed quite good value: https://oqs.rescue24.com/quickquote.aspx?id=ef020b5d-bb59-49a7-b6cf-42ec08cdec37&covertype=25&Offername=AXABD02&__utma=212626450.1829050593.1405541056.1405541056.1409156550.2&__utmb=212626450.4.8.1409156552999&__utmc=212626450&__utmx=-&__utmz=212626450.1409156550.2.2.utmcsr=google|utmccn=(organic)|utmcmd=organic|utmctr=(not%20provided)&__utmv=-&__utmk=225739609 Not sure how this compares with Green Flag though.
