Ekona
true but if this brings in what is it now for als on the last count $80 million, whats the real harm Nothing, if you ignore the fact that makes most people doing it sanctimonious cretins. On the flip side, this may mean that donations to other charities go down as people feel they've done their bit for this year.

Ekona
Giving money to charity is good, mostly. Giving it to one you actually care about is better. Fair enough?

Exactly my point earlier, and the reason why anyone knocking on my door gets is slammed in their face and anyone that stops me in the street gets short shrift, I have been known to push people out of the way if they jump in front of me

Fair enough? well yea and no, going back to my sister and here DIDMOAD its such a rear disorder that they amount of people dont know about it and therefor it doesn't mean anything to 99% of the population So in that term my sister syndrome doesn't deserve @*!# in regards to donations compared with cancer because more people are aware of cancer? Ekona
I shave my balls on a regular basis.. lol Me too, I've been doing it for years. Normally I just trim everything up with a set of clippers, but a couple of times a year I'll break the wet shave out as well and do it properly.

Being aware has nothing to do with it, or shouldn't have. It should be about something you care about. In a more direct answer to your question, I'm not sure I have an answer for you. I'm not sure anyone could.

Ekona
No balls left after it! iches like a mother fckerr! You need to try putting some balm on afterwards. I use Nivea For Men Sensitive post shave balm, works a treat.
StevoD
right most people will ironically start donating or care for a cause once a close one has had cancer how many people get cancer these days 15-16 million a year the amount of people ever recorded with didmoad is is around the 500,000 mark so going by what youve said cancer should get 320 times more donations than wolfram syndrome support group, so by that noone one should donate to didmoad because noone in comparison is effected by it, and that because people arnt effect because of it they shouldn't donate to it ? i guess what im saying is my sister should die blind at 30 because people like you dont give a **** about it

I feel for your sister, you and your family, and it must be awful to know there's nothing you can do. Life isn't fair, and bad things happen to good people, but none of that claptrap makes your situation any easier to bear.

I certainly had not heard of Didmoad until now.
