embrace
Afternoon all, we took a road trip this year and drove from Calais to the Nurburgring then down to Austria and went on the Grossglockner high alpine road in Austria. The roads through germany are fantastic especially on the derestricted autobahns. Theres no traffic, no pot holes or rubbish on the road and there pretty straight all the time so you can give the car a good run. I managed to get 149mph out of mine on the speedo dont think it was quite that much on the satnav but none the less its fast. Up to 120mph doesnt feel fast but as soon as you get past 130mph it feels quick. Pleased to say the zed handled it well steering didnt seem to go light and it didnt shake and fall to peices lol Then the country/alpine roads are where the real driving comes in propper topgear stye roads with cliff edge hair pin bends with no barriers and just a 1000 foot drop and this is where you get the stunning scenery. When we reached the top of the grossglockner it was unreal, the views and the 15foot walls of snow either side the road looked incredible and to make it more surreal it was 18C outside in shorts and t shirt with all the snow still lying around.. anyway enough waffle heres just a few pics we took of the trip: Nissan shop at the nurburgring view from our balcony in austria bottom of the grossglocker alpine road my mug in summery clothing in the snow, unreal experience! sunset in austria softtop 370 not sure if i like or not great trip if you ever get the chance to go!
