Dean.B
First time at trax this year was a great day, just thought I would post this picture to show how the car is looking at the minute. ( Photo by Matt Grundy thanks =] ) I only fitted the wheels & spacers on Saturday just in time for trax. I am very happy with how they turned out, may not be to everyone's taste colour wise but I'm definetly happy. Found some more tarmac parts I want now after seeing them on zeds at trax, and also even though I didn't think I ever would I'm thinking about the Megan racing BGW I'm actually liking the look of it good or bad haha Edited July 21, 2015 by Dean.B

Dean.B
Time for an update, a few weeks ago now I brought my airlift 3p kit from caraudiosecurity, I spent a while working out where I wanted to fit everything and cutting and carpeting mdf. And then spent a few days End of last week fitting the kit with my girlfriends dad at his garage. And now is on the car and works great, so far this kit is amazing, it's so practical & all the parts are well made. Also on Saturday I had arch enemy come over to the garage to roll my arches, the guy was called Phil and he done a great job very tidy finish. And was flexible with the times he could come over as I was slightly outside his usual area. We decided not to roll my front arches though, as my passenger side has bad paint bubble and cracking and would 100% of caused a lot of damage, but he did cut the lining tabs from the top with the screws in to make sure it didn't catch. so at some point I'll replace the wing as it looks like mine has been repaired previously but not to well. I think that wheels would be next on the list of jobs to do. I will take some photos of the boot 2moz as I only finished it off this evening Edited August 16, 2016 by Dean.B
Dean.B
Took some photos this evening of the boot build I done. I wanted to make it so that I could keep my spare wheel should I ever need it, but wanted it to look tidy. Hard to see in this pic but I made a mdf board and covered with carpet to finish this side off. And the old ashtray was nearly the right size to fit the controller so I used a dremel to cut and finish off the edge so it sits nicely =] Edited August 17, 2016 by Dean.B
Scott TMN
Nice work mate, great piece of kit isnt it. Did you buy the compressor isolator (rubber feet)? I recommend that also if not
Dean.B
Thanks mate. It is great very clever and very practical. I didn't, the compressor had small rubber bits fitted to it. Or can you buy proper feet for it? I was trying to think of a way to quite it down a bit, it's pretty loud haha

I have my compressor under a false floor in the boot on them feet, and I have no complaints about the sound whatsoever. I can hear it obviously but in no way intrusive. Someone that had his compressor in the boot similar to yours, without the feet heard mine and said mine is massively quieter..
parello9
You need to box up the compressor as i had mine like that for about a year and it done my head in lol! Scotts was so peacefully quite
Dean.B
The car is Looking good buddy, expensive kit ? Thanks Mate =] Yes it's an an expensive kit mate a little over 3000 for the complete kit I got. But it's all well made and in my opinion worth the money. Especially if you want to run low but don't want to be damaging your car everyday to because that can work out expensive haha

Thanks for the link, it does look expensive for what your getting but if it does reduce the noise then it would be worth it. I think because mine is directly on top of the mdf the vibrations are going through the whole board and making it sound a lot louder. Do these feet raise the compressor up much ? I don't have much room above it because of he brace, and don't want it too near it because it gets hot hah
