Little help with engine light and airbag light

hi, i just bought my 350z yesterday and after purchasing the car wile driving home the + clip on the battery popped off and left my car completely dead. I must of left it for about 20 mins because at the time was trying to figure what the problem was and then my engine and airbag are now permanently on. So was wondering if anyone knows how to turn these lights back off as it really annoys me. Also i have a duel stainless steel exhaust and stainless cats and heard that sometime the engine light stays on when doing short journeys is this true ?

Try this for the airbag light. Worked for me first time.

Yup, video is spot on.

 

I believe the fault is usually the seat airbag connector - unclip spray with contact cleaner & replace, should ensure it doesn't come back on.

 

Engine light cannot be extinguished without plugging in to a diagnostic afaik.

Search for pedal dance, you can read and clear the engine light by holding down pedals and turning the ignition on in certain intervals. Its easiest to just invest in a code reader for around £10 though.
