pjf1985
So I was at work earlier and had a customer come in looking for a car, turns out we didn't have anything he wanted but he asked if I wanted to make more money. So I said that would be great...then he suggests working as a partner for Utility Warehouse where I can make money in my spare time by selling their products and by signing up new partners. I thought it sounded like an OK idea at the time but am now sceptical about how I would get enough people signed up to their products to make it worthwhile, plus I barely have any spare time anyway. Has anyone tried or heard anything about this or similar schemes? Edited August 18, 2014 by pjf1985

Grundy
A lot of these schemes require money from you first. I.e. you buy a bunch of there catalogues/leaflets. You then have to buy the stock to sell to the customer etc.

Ricey
Utility Warehouse are a bit like Avon.......they've got an actual product to sell that people actually want to buy. There are a tonne of other Multi Level Marketing schemes out there at the minute though and they are a bit of a joke but ridiculously successful companies (herbalife/juice plus).
pjf1985
I have decided not to bother with it in the end. I barely have any spare time as it is and so I doubt I'll put any effort into it lol. This has a £100 joining fee. I know its not much but you'd have to get a few customers to sign up before making that back.
