Gsxraddict
Hi all. I've just recently bought a scorpion exhaust for the z. Been fitted no more than a month and it has melted the bumper. Any body else had this problem. Pi##ed off to say the least
delz0r
I have an invidia gemini and it can get very hot. I badly burned my leg off it 2 weeks ago, was a sunny day and I was wearing shorts. My bumper looks fine though. Is your exhaust touching the bumper?
Stutopia
The scorpion which was one my Zed when I bought it didn't melt the bumper. I've now got a CF diffuser on there too, which sits even closer to the tips (without touching) but hasn't caused any melting. Are your tips actually touching the bumper? cmck13
Not an issue I've heard of, has it been badly fitted, photos would help not easy trying to visualise it?
370Ad
Mine burnt the bumper on the 50 but only at a track day. Normal driving and it was fine.

Carbon fibre won't melt, it will burn however
