Sy1441
Got a really uneven patina on my exhausts and want to try and rectify it. Not really sure what to do to sort it. The picture doesnt really capture the problem in its full effect to be honest. Edited August 9, 2014 by Sy1441
pjf1985
I use Autosol to polish my exhaust, not sure if this would rectify it?
Lexx
the blue tinge on your exhaust is simply a heat treatment which converts the top layers of the metal. As an exhaust ages and is exposed to all kinds of dirt/crap/polish those top layers disappear. Only way to get the blue back is to apply a heat treatment again. WhackyWill
As Lexx said, use a plumbers hand held blow torch, just be careful not to burn through the tips .
